Windows taskbar by default is located on the lower side of the window screen. However, it can be moved to any other position on the screen. This position could be the left side, right side or upper side of the windows screen. Most of the people do not change the windows taskbar from its default position, however, some people want to have a different kind of experience with the windows screen as far as its taskbar is concerned.
If you want to change the position of the task-bar of your window, you may change it while following the below steps.
  1. Open your windows screen.
  2. Drag your mouse onto the taskbar.
  3. Left-click on the empty space of the task-bar and drag it to the position where to want it to be.
  4. You are done with changing the position of the taskbar.
If you want to change back the task-bar position to its default position, then follow the aforementioned steps from 3 to 4 i.e.
  1. Drag your mouse onto the taskbar.
  2. Left-click on the empty space of the taskbar and drag it to the lower down (default) position.
  3. You are done with changing your taskbar back to its default position.
