start a blog for free

A blog is the best source to present yourself online whether it is your business or some important information about your own self. Any person who wants to expose himself/business to more people must have a blog.

In fact a few decades ago, it was too expensive to create your own blog for two reasons. One of the reasons people were not aware of the online resources which can be used free of cost to create a blog. Second, the developers who were apt at building blogs used to charge too much money. Thanks to the advancements in technology that now it is very easy to create your own blog even without paying a single penny to anyone.

Basically, when we talk about starting a blog, we need three things. First, is you must have a unique domain name. Second, there must be a space where you can host your blog. And third is that you need to know about some codings through which you can make your own blog.

Fortunately, nowadays these all three options are available free of cost. There are companies that provide you all of the 3 things to start with a blog free of cost.

There are several online companies that help in starting a blog without paying any cost for them, but as far as my experience is concerned, I would suggest using one of the following if you want to start your won blog free of cost.

Both of them have pros and cons and I have used both of them. As far as customization, template designing is concerned, Wordpress is a better option. However, if you want to monetize your blog and earn money through it, the Blogger is the best option because in a free version of wordpress you can not monetize your blog.

How to create your blog with Blogger

  • Create an account in Gmail.
  • Go and visit the Blogger website.
  • Login to the Blogger using your Gmail account.
  • Click on Create a New Blog
  • Type the title of your blog.
  • Chose and type a URL for your blog.
  • Enter the word verification and click
  • Choose a template from dozens of the free available templates.
  • Click on create a blog.
  • You are done with your blog and your blog is now online. Now just add contents to your blog.
One thing to remember, when you create a blog on Wordpress or Blogger, the domain name you choose will be followed by Wordrpess or Blogspot name. This can be removed if you register a custom domain.
